You can create a Client Onboarding Task when you add a new client. This article will show you how this feature works with and without our Workflow feature.
To add a new client navigate to Clients > New Client:
Fill in the details for your new client, and then scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the arrow on the Add Client Button and select Add and Create On-boarding Workflow:
If you are using Workflow
The page will refresh and open the Client Onboarding Task, your Onboarding Workflow will be automatically added to the task, you can use the Workflow Template Dropdown to apply a different Workflow. Use the Assign To Field to assign this task to any user, you can add a use to Notify on Progress and they will receive a Notification when this task is updated. You can also set a Deadline for this task, once you have made your amendments click Save & View Tasks:
The workflow used for this onboarding task can be found under Tasks > Workflow Manager > Templates > Onboarding Workflow Template.
If you need to amend the Workflow for this particular task once Save & View Tasks has been clicked navigate to Tasks and locate the task on your Task List. Click the Task Card to expand it then click View Workflow, then click View Workflow:
Click the edit button and select Edit Workflow:
You can then delete Subtasks, add more Subtasks or add a new group of Subtasks. Once you have completed your changes click Update Workflow:
If you are not using Workflow
The page will refresh and open the Client Onboarding Task, your Onboarding Breakdown will be automatically added to the task. Use the Assign To Field to assign this task to any user, you can add a use to Notify on Progress and they will receive a Notification when this task is updated. You can also set a Deadline for this task and amend the Task Breakdown. Once you have made your amendments click Save & View Tasks:
The Task Breakdown is populated using the template found under Settings > Templates > Onboarding Task Breakdown Template > Onboarding Task Breakdown.
