You can create a link to a document and include this link in a template or email. This can be useful for adding something like a questionnaire to your Proposal or an attachment to a Template. For GDPR compliance all sensitive documents should only be shared via the Client Portal.
To add the link from OneDrive, you will first need to generate it on OneDrive. Start by loading up your PCs File Explorer and open the OneDrive folder. Then locate the document you want to share. Right Click the file/folder you want to share and a menu will appear. Click Share.
The below screen will appear, you can use the edit button to the right if you don't want your client to edit your document, then click the Copy Link icon.
Once this is done, open AccountancyManager. Depending on what you are doing with the link, you can navigate to Settings > Templates and then click edit next to the template you want to add the link to. Or you can start drafting the manual email you want to include the link in.
You can add your copied link as a Hyperlink using the icon below in the toolbar of either option.
